As might be assumed, Amadeus wasn't quite aware of his surroundings due to the whole his-face-had-just-been-mutilated factor. So he didn't exactly notice the presence of another. He might have known, subconsciously, but that was only because he was more animal than not and so had instinct that he could not ignore. Had he not been in agonizing pain, he would have loved what he was doing--rolling around in blood that he, himself, had had the pleasure of spilling. But unfortunately, he was shedding a bit of his own of the crimson liquid. Again, on his face, no less.
Only very faintly did he feel the prick in his thigh, and in all honesty, he didn't think much of it. With his current luck, he had probably rolled over onto a shard of gold Ismir might have left, or a bundle of mistletoe, or something. A needle was the last thing he figured. However, when the pain began to subside, he knew it must have been something of the sort. His eyes, having been shut tightly, opened to stare up and over at the peculiar boy...who held a syringe in one hand. A single drop of scarlet liquid hung from the tip. Amadeus, being in his transformed state, took a moment to register as to why such a kid had just helped him. Once his senses were not so numb anymore, he only had to inhale once to catch the boy's scent, which reeked strongly of foul things, but also of the smell that was unique to lycanthropes. The golden beast's face hurt no longer, but his left eye had to be kept shut in order to keep blood out of it. He could feel the fluid soaking the fur on his face, and he happened to, as a wet dog, have the same irritation as a wet cat. Without much waiting, he morphed back into his humanoid form. [Not that he would ever admit it to being such.]
For a minute or so, all he did was stare at the boy with an unapproving glare. By the smell and looks of it, this was a major druggie. Of course, Amadeus couldn't deny that he had the occasional cigarette, but he wasn't addicted to anything. He sensed so many drugs on this kid that his scent was hardly bearable. He didn't look so hot, either, but then again, who would if they were on so much? And was that teal natural? Or just a result of all the shit he smoked/injected/snuffed/etc? One of the other random things the blond noticed was that the boy had no shoes. Well, that would explain it. If you spent so much money on drugs, where would you get money for shoes?
"Who the hell are you supposed to be, twerp?" he hissed rather abruptly, sitting up in a flash. He didn't exactly like this boy, but he wasn't stupid enough to jump him--who knew what he could jab him with? If he had painkillers, he probably had plain old killers. "Well, are you gonna tell me your name? Or do I have to call you something stupid like 'Sock'?" Obviously, Amadeus wasn't the most patient of creatures.

The sickly addict watched with a slightly bored and unfocused look on his face as Amadeus stopped rolling around in the scarlet liquid. That look continued right on without pause as the blood-stained man proceeded to glare at him for a few minutes. Those silver eyes just stared right back, though it was uncertain as to if they were acctually seeing the guy in front of him. Instead, they seemed to be looking right through him, beyond the floor below him, somewhere only the teal-haired teen could venture. When the blonde acctually morphed back and took the time to speak, however, the shoeless teen snapped back to reality. If this even was reality. Reality was kind of harsh. It had that chain whip effect sometimes.
An itching sensation filled the back of the teen's mind, making him shift uncomfortably. Being addicted to so many drugs, it was hard to ever satisfy his body's mindless pleas for more. This caused him to always be on edge, on withdrawal with something, unless he acctually kept up with his bodily urges. When he did he seemed to be a completely different person, able to function much better. There were rare occassions were he would loose supply of a drug, causing him to go through such withdrawal that it could make it impossible for him to move, let alone think. Life was harsh on him. Right now the drug calling him were cigarettes. Acting of its own accord, his right hand snaked down and snatched a bud from the pack and put it to his mouth while the other proceeded straightaway to light it. The silver eyes closed, and for a moment he calmed himself with a puff, which ended in strangled coughing. It was pathetic how the things your body wanted treated you so badly in return. After a few more times of this, the boy opened his eyes and looked back over at Amadeus.
"What do you think I am?" the teen whispered in a raw and scratchy voice. "Look at me, and tell me what you see. I dont have a name. Call me whatever you like." This having been too much for his weak lungs, the guy without a name doubled over and started coughing uncontrollably. Blood even started leaking out of his mouth in a steady trail, but apparently this was normal, for the tealnette simply wiped it off with a sleeve, which had many other similar stains. "What is your name? Or do I have to call you something like Banana?"

Ragged breathing cut the silence blanketing the dark alleyway. A fine tuned nose whiffed once again at the metallic tang in the air. To this nose, it smelled what a young child would smell when his/her mother was making their comfort food after a rough day. A single claw tapped the ground as the owner of the nose weighed the possibilities. She could not afford to lose her favorite area to hunt because of a simple mistake.
Keeping to the shadows as not to attract attention, the creature made its way to the coffee shop. A single neon light cast the shadow of a smaller-than-average werewolf. A quick swipe resolved this matter. The form continued on its way, staying away from lights and random people out in the middle of the night.
Once the werewolf reached the shop, she spotted an open door in the back. She leaped through it, her paws not making a sound as she landed. Walking through the kitchen area, the werewolf spotted living two forms in the main room among the bodies of humans.
Stalking over to them, her voice emerging as an almost pleasant growl, the were asked, "My, my, what ever happened here?" A single leap landed her onto the counter. The flash of a speeding car lit the room for an instant, revealing her fur to be the same color as the liquid on the floor.

As much as Amadeus loved making comebacks, he didn't particularly enjoy receiving them and so was slightly annoyed at the nameless boy's little speech. His position of sitting, knees folded and spread slightly so that he could see the kid, was quickly changed to a crouch--his legs tucked under, his elbows bent and resting on his knees. It wasn't totally hostile, but enough so for one to know that he meant business.
"My name, wretched little Flea," he spat in his regular, sandpapery voice [the smooth voice he had spoken with earlier was slightly uncomfortable for him to use], "is something you'd best not forget for the rest of your sorry life. It's Amadeus Leo Constantine. Remember it.
"And don't ever do that again," the blond added with a hiss and a nod to the needle. It seemed he didn't care whether he had been helped. He made no mention of the boy's cigarette or coughing fits; he had been able enough to predict such from a kid like this.
At the sudden voice, however, he jolted onto his feet and faced the direction from which the sound came. Seconds later, a she-wolf was apparent on the counter, crouched as he had been. She was a relatively small, slim female, but her fur, claws, and teeth gave a threatening enough appearance. A thought immediately buried itself in the giant pile of dirt that was the beastly man's mind. He remembered what Ismirshalen had said, that he could possibly recruit other lycan into forming an army of sorts to take down Amadeus. Two could play it that game. Why, Ammy now seemed to just attract other weres like a magnet. Already, a guy with drugs, be they good or bad, and a highly stealthy [with which came deadly] she-wolf. All he had to do was convince them to tag along with him back to his giant home, an abandoned neighborhood a ways away from the city, and he would be set. They would tell others they knew, and they would tell, and they would tell... There was no way Ismir already had this kind of promise. It hadn't even been an hour since their argument and declaration of war.
This immense number of thoughts took only a couple of seconds to process in Amadeus's mind, and his hostile snarl that was directed at the female turned instantly into his fanged smile.
"I happened," he rumbled proudly deep in his throat in response to the female's most likely rhetorical inquiry. His tail thrashed and his ears set forward. "And I happen often."
If his face was not cut and bleeding, he might have seriously been able to make an impression.

Leaping off the counter, the red furred she-wolf landed lightly on the blood covered floor. She looked around before commenting, "I wouldn't doubt it. The mutilation suggests you are well seasoned in the killing of that pathetic race." The female circled the two, calculating. She inspected them for awhile, calm and intelligent. Once she was finished, she sat in front of them. The crimson female addressed the druggie first, obvious scorn in her clipped tone. "You, boy, are a disgrace to the lycan race with your dependence of their drugs. That is almost as bad as siding with them." Turning to Amadeus, she said, "I had heard that the legendary Amadeus had declared war on that idiot Ismirshalen. I didn't think that you'd still be here..." The female trailed off as she smelled another werewolf. Standing up, she commented as he came in, "and another one joins the party."

The tealnette simply raised an eyebrow and puffed on his cigarette at the blonde's sharp reply. Apparently he wasnt much fazed, even though it was obvious that the man could tear him limb to limb if he wanted to. Maybe the guy just didnt care. Weary from the long way that he had traveled, the teen pulled over one of the chairs that hadnt been maimed and sat down on it. Still hunching foreward, of coarse. He gazed with a bored expression at Ammy.
"I havnt forgotten a single detail of the first World War yet, Amadeus Leo Constantine," he whispered, twirling the needle before putting it back into his pocket. A coughing spasm followed this, but it wasnt as bad as the last one, with minimal amounts of blood. "And if you dont get yourself shot by your weak area again, I shouldnt have to." He stopped just as the woman's voice pierced the room, though he didnt bother to turn his head-- he knew she was a werewolf, and by the sound of her breathing and the vibrations through the ground from her steps, she wasnt very large at all. He whistled through his barely open mouth, smirking.
"Are coffee shops common places for lycan to roam? I should come here more often," he murmured in his soft voice, ignoring Amadeus's sudden obvious insight that impressing people might make them want to join his conspiracy for power. He instead rummaged through his pockets, pulling out pills and swallowing them, smoking his cigarettes, and starting to daydream. Of coarse that all ended when the red coated she-wolf stopped in front of him and started dissing him.
Peering down at the werewolf with bleary eyes, the teal haired druggie almost broke out laughing. Instead, it was more bloody coughs. "Boy?" he whispered, sounding sarcastic yet at the same time amused. "Dependance on their drugs? Dear me, ma'am, but do you know who created the basis ideas for half of these drugs?" A high expression on his face, he held out the cigarette pack. "I did! Haha! I'm old enough you be your mother's mother's father, so dont be calling me a boy!" He sharply jerked his head in Ammy's direction. "So, what name are you settling on, Amadeus Leo Constantine? Sock, Flea, or..." He looked at the cigarette package. "Or Camel?" Completely oblivious to the fact that another werewolf had entered the shop, or just not caring what the hell happened anymore, the teen waited.

The boy's abrupt sitting down slightly annoyed Amadeus. After all, all should be standing at attention in the presence of an elite. Power was no joke, nothing to be taken lightly, to the tall werewolf, and he expected such from others. However, while that particular instance made him angry, what the she-wolf said about him threw a haughty smirk on his face. He was particularly entertained at the miniature brawl that went on between the wolf and the boy, and abruptly burst into a deep, scratchy cackle after he heard the teal-haired lycan's comeback.
"If you're such a genius in regards to making your own drugs," he jeered smugly, "then why do you have Camel? Wouldn't it be more sensible to use your own, especially when you're trying to win an argument, and by the way, failing miserably? Ahahaha!"
Instead of being irritated by the boy's next inquiry, Amadeus simply put on an expression that was quite obviously faking deep thought, certainly in a manner mocking the nameless kid.
"As you might guess, 'Camel' is out of the question," he sniffed contemptuously. "And I already have more than enough fleas [He didn't seem at all bothered by announcing this]... Sock'll have to do." Then he turned his head to glance again at the she-wolf and noted that her red fur made her look more like a... "You sure you're a wolf and not a fox?"
Briefly following this statement, floodlights suddenly blasted outside the cracked windows of the coffee shop. Instantly, the room lit up in a bright yellow glow. Amadeus's eyes flew shut abruptly. From outside, a voice on a megaphone rang out, "Come out now and we'll make it quick for you, fleabags!" Though still dazed from the bright lights, the black-garbed man reopened his eyes, which now gleamed maniacally. His lips parted, revealing the sharp fangs, also seeming to glow ominously in the glare of lights. He took a large step towards the front of the shop and whipped his head back for a brief moment to hiss to the others, "You two can stay here and get shot, or you can follow me to a haven free from humans and goody-two-shoes alike. Your choice. I don't give a damn what happens to you." With that, he turned back around and began to change once again. Within seconds, the golden werewolf was again in place of the man, and once again, it pushed its powerful legs back and then up, leaping through the glass. Shards clattered to the ground, but that sound was drowned out by the screams of some of the police outside and the gunshots of others. After causing another bloodbath out there, the huge lycanthrope melted in with the shadows and disappeared down the empty sidewalk.

The red furred female simply bristled at the seemingly younger lycan's reply. Since the other lycan seemed even older that the druggie, that made her the youngest. She was one of the smallest of her kind, and also weak in physical terms. Her age was one of the only aces up her sleeve, and now it was worthless.
Her head snapped up when the golden one addressed her. "I am not a fox, but I am called Fox by those who live; who are few." Her claws dug into the wood beneath her. She caught a whiff of what was outside when the voice rang out. A growled curse was the answer for both Amadeus as she launched after him out the window.
Screams and the almost deafening sounds of spurting blood followed the scarlet wolf as she cleared her path. She really had no reason to follow the gold lycan, but she had no reason not to follow him. Besides, she was bored and he was interesting.

Sock sighed tiredly at Amadeus's response to him, shaking his head and smiling a thin-toothed smile as if there was something the blonde wasnt getting. Which there kind of was. Duhh. He made Camel. That was one of his drugs. A hissing sound escaped his lips, blood flecking his face. He dabbed his face with a cloth, silver eyes narrowing. His appearance was slightly psychotic looking in the dim light of the store, his eyes glowing maniacally.
That is, until the sheet of light flooded the coffee shop, once again reducing the medic to a pitiful looking sick figure. Great, just great. Humans. The tealnette didnt even have to look up to tell Amadeus had transformed and had broken out the window. Another 'just great' seemed ready to pop to his mouth as he listened to what he had to say. Either follow him or get shot. Not much of a choice, was there?
Sock sighed and got up, hunching over and almost falling back to his chair. Okay, so he would take Ammy's route. But it wasnt because he believed anything that dog said. That spikey blonde could go to hell.
Silver eyes changed to a dark teal as the fox werewolf rushed by, his hair changing silver and starting to sprout from his pores. The transformation was swift, but terrible painful. Even though he was old and experienced at it, because of his physical state a lot of energy was drained from transformations. The silver coated werewolf was mangy and flea ridden, legs as thin as sticks and also pretty long. Surprisingly, the cigarette he had been smoking still hung out of his maw. The first few steps were wobbly, but eventually the drugged werewolf made it out of the window and out after Amadeus and the girl, the shouts of the police giving him a pounding headache. But soon they had traversed out of reach of their furious shouts. The only question that remained in Sock's mind was where the golden wolf was going the lead them. He already felt like collapsing.
