Welcome to Odirais Isle, a werewolf roleplay. This is an advanced roleplay that's PG-13 rated [mostly for chars that curse]. Our site is basically just starting up, though we've been around for a while, and we hope to have some new talented members who are willing to help us build our site up and keep the plots running smoothly!
When you join you should have your bio posted in a week at the most. If we see you have not your account will be deleted to keep the amount of inactive members from spamming up. If you are planning on not being here for a while, post so on the MIA Board so we can be aware of your absence.
If you have any concerns or questions, PM one of the admins [Henry or Mink, also listed in the last box below].
10.13.08 ) I am working on writing out a description of our current plot. It will be run by Mink for editing, but due to an unfortunate event she is unable to access the computer, therefore it may be some time before it is put up! However, I will still continue on with rebuilding and remodeling some aspects of the site in order to assure it is run more smoothly, so expect to see some changes! They are not that drastic though, so I will not be putting the board in Maintenance Mode. Also, I will try to add some fun things to the site, so if you have any Ideas and Questions they would be much welcomed!
Remember, guys, it would be much appreciated if you would help with the rebuilding of OI. I thank all of those who contributed to getting it where it is now, and hope to see that it will become an enjoyable roleplaying community in the future! Five years ago, Ismirshalen Linnaeus and Amadeus Constantine declared war. The two sides are very distinct and separate, so the time has come to choose a side for life or for death. Ismir is fighting for his beliefs of being able to live at peace with humans, while Amadeus wishes to rid the world of them and regain the lycan's "rightful place" as the Earth's dominant species. The packs are growing steadily, and wartime is upon Odirais. Whose side are you on?

In Odirais Isle there are some odd terms used. Here is where I will put a list of any new ones that come up as we go along.
Odirais Isle: Odirais Isle is the name of the island of which this roleplay is done on. Unknown to the humans of the land, Odirais [O-di-rAze] is the goddess of the moon. The lycan worship this god, along with Enain [E-nAne], who is the god of the moon's shadow [like when it's not a full moon, you dont see the whole thing].
Lycan: Short for "lycanthrope," just another word for werewolf. Throughout the rules I have been using the word werewolf, but the 'wolves in Odirais usually preferr using the term lycan. Many other terms may be used. Pretty much, the basics are werewolf, lycan, lycanthrope, were, 'wolf, and therian[thrope].
Moonblind: This is the term lycan use for a werewolf who cannot control themselves. Typically they are looked down upon by both Dawn and Twilight.
the Dawn: This is the name used in general for all the light packs in Odirais.
the Twilight: This is the name used in general for all the dark packs in Odirais.
Here in the wonderful world of OI, we have rules. Rules for everything... even our beloved cbox. So don't give us all those moanz n' groanz, you have to abide by the rules posted below. Everyone, even the guests.
- No advertising. You can ONLY advertise in your name.
- Guests can NOT advertise AT ALL. Not even in your name.
- No spamming.
- No fighting. Take that to PMs.
- Try not to curse. No matter what situation you're in, cursing just doesnt make it any better.
- Don't impersonate. If you do, you'll be banned for a minimum of 3 days.
