Welcome to Odirais Isle, a werewolf roleplay. This is an advanced roleplay that's PG-13 rated [mostly for chars that curse]. Our site is basically just starting up, though we've been around for a while, and we hope to have some new talented members who are willing to help us build our site up and keep the plots running smoothly!
When you join you should have your bio posted in a week at the most. If we see you have not your account will be deleted to keep the amount of inactive members from spamming up. If you are planning on not being here for a while, post so on the MIA Board so we can be aware of your absence.
If you have any concerns or questions, PM one of the admins [Henry or Mink, also listed in the last box below].
10.13.08 ) I am working on writing out a description of our current plot. It will be run by Mink for editing, but due to an unfortunate event she is unable to access the computer, therefore it may be some time before it is put up! However, I will still continue on with rebuilding and remodeling some aspects of the site in order to assure it is run more smoothly, so expect to see some changes! They are not that drastic though, so I will not be putting the board in Maintenance Mode. Also, I will try to add some fun things to the site, so if you have any Ideas and Questions they would be much welcomed!
Remember, guys, it would be much appreciated if you would help with the rebuilding of OI. I thank all of those who contributed to getting it where it is now, and hope to see that it will become an enjoyable roleplaying community in the future! Five years ago, Ismirshalen Linnaeus and Amadeus Constantine declared war. The two sides are very distinct and separate, so the time has come to choose a side for life or for death. Okay. Rules. Sites NEED rules, or everything would be chaos...
1. No powerplaying, godmodding, etc. without the permission of whoever you are rping with. [Like if you had both planned on it for that specific thing, not if they just say yeah sure whenever.]
2. If you want to have an arguement with someone, do it over PMs.
3. Your posts have to at LEAST fill up the quick reply box. This is an ADVANCED RP. If you cant fill it up wait until you can.
4. Just because they're werewolves doesnt mean they dont follow normal wolf rules. Please, if you don't know the behaviour and communication and how their ranks go and stuff, then LOOK IT UP. No excuses.
5. Please TRY to spell correctly. And be literate. No chatspeak in acctual posts.
6. You can have as many characters as you want, but you HAVE to be active with ALL of them. Dont pick out more than you can chew.
7. You can fight however harshly you want, and have as much gore as you want. But PLEASE, if you think someone might take a trip to the bathroom while reading it, please mention so at the top of the post.
8. Try not to curse... It just doesnt make anything better. But if you do, you just cant use the F word.
9. Dont make fun of other people.
10. If you have a problem with someone, tell me. ME, no one else.
11. Your characters may have sex/kids/etc. But please dont go into detail. It's just disgusting. Write "POOF!" or something, I dont care.
12. Dont ask to be an admin.
13. Dont spam the boards. On threads OR PMs. If an admin hears that someone has done so over such, then that person will banned for a minimum of 3 days. If the same person does it again, the account will perminatly banned.
14. When talking OoC [out of character] please signify you are doing so. Brackets work "[]", and so does OoC:// and BiC:// [back in character.]
15. Any staff member can approve characters, but not their own.
16. Characters must be accepted before you start to rp, but if an admin is not on for more than 3 days you may start.
17. If you want to affilate, you must post your banner code and site on the Affilating board. Remember, you must have our banner up first, or your post will be deleted and you'll be sent a reminder.
18. The moon phase and time of day of the topic MUST BE SPECIFICALLY INDICATED OoC in the opening post of every roleplay. This is so members that play weres that cannot control transformations know what's going on.
19. You can choose your character's own status in the bio format, but Henry or Mink have to accept it indefinitely [depending on which pack the character will be in, Henry will accept Dawn, Mink will accept Twilight] before it takes official affect.
20. If you make your font size 1, DO NOT change the actual font. This is so that it does not become too difficult to read. [Arial, Verdana, etc]
Make sure you read ALL the rules, not just this set, before you rp.
Here in the wonderful world of OI, we have rules. Rules for everything... even our beloved cbox. So don't give us all those moanz n' groanz, you have to abide by the rules posted below. Everyone, even the guests.
- No advertising. You can ONLY advertise in your name.
- Guests can NOT advertise AT ALL. Not even in your name.
- No spamming.
- No fighting. Take that to PMs.
- Try not to curse. No matter what situation you're in, cursing just doesnt make it any better.
- Don't impersonate. If you do, you'll be banned for a minimum of 3 days.
